What has hurricane season looked like here lately?
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. Since 2022, six hurricanes have led FEMA to designate counties in this region for Individual Assistance, its program for households, and one other declaration has too.

- Hurricane Nicole, 2022
Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia.
- Hurricane Idalia, 2023
Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota, Suwannee and Taylor.
- Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, and Tornadoes, 2024

- Hurricane Helene, 2024
Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Franklin, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hernando, Hillsborough, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Madison, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Putnam, Sarasota, Suwannee, Taylor, Union and Wakulla.

Before the season opens, look each property up twice: once on FEMA's Flood Map Service Center for its flood zone, and once on Florida's Know Your Zone for its evacuation zone.
Questions
Questions about the service area.
Which counties does 1Stop Service Pro serve?
58 counties in North and Central Florida: Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Brevard, Calhoun, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, DeSoto, Dixie, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Holmes, Indian River, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Nassau, Okaloosa, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Santa Rosa, Sarasota, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, Wakulla, Walton and Washington. Orange, Osceola and Seminole take every trade, with no emergency response target yet, Lake and Polk take scheduled work, and the other 53 are taking vendors with no response target yet.
Why does no county have an emergency response target yet?
Because a target needs enough vetted, insured vendors behind it, awake and covered on a Sunday night, and no vendor in an emergency trade has been approved yet. A trade gets an emergency target in a county once an approved vendor there can hold one, and not before.
Can a vendor outside Orange, Seminole and Osceola apply?
Yes. 1Stop is taking vendors across the region now, and the vendor application lets you pick any Florida county you will drive to.
How do I check a property's flood zone or evacuation zone?
FEMA's Flood Map Service Center looks up flood maps by address, and the Florida Division of Emergency Management's Know Your Zone page looks up hurricane evacuation zones.
