Licensing
What license does a vendor need in Florida?
General information, not legal advice.
Florida law names pressure washing outright. Section 489.117(4)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists it among the job scopes for which a city or county may not require a license, whether issued locally or by the state, and may not require one to pull a permit.
There is one narrow exception. A local government that licensed rooftop painting, coating and cleaning above three stories before January 1, 2021, may keep doing so.
Any Florida license can be checked by name or number on the state's Verify a Licensee search at myfloridalicense.com.
