The work
What painting work does 1Stop send?
Unit repaints, common areas, exterior touch-up, for managed properties. It is billed per unit, and it goes on your payout statement for the period, which 1Stop pays net-14 from completion.
1Stop is the contracting party: it buys the job from you and sells it to the property manager, so you invoice one company and never bid against other vendors for the work.

Licensing
What license does a painting vendor need in Florida?
Florida does not license painting as a contracting trade. Section 489.117(4)(a) of the Florida Statutes goes further and names painting among the job scopes for which a city or county may not require a license.
There is one narrow exception. A local government that licensed rooftop painting, coating and cleaning above three stories before January 1, 2021, may keep doing so.
Federal rules still apply in older buildings. EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule requires anyone paid to disturb painted surfaces in homes, childcare facilities and preschools built before 1978 to be certified, with workers trained in lead-safe practices.
What 1Stop holds on file for every painting vendor is a current certificate of insurance and a W-9.
