What does a vendor need to work in Volusia County?
Volusia County no longer levies a county business tax. A city inside the county can still levy its own, under section 205.042 of the Florida Statutes.

Building permits for unincorporated Volusia County go through the county's Permit Center.
A registered contractor can work only where its registration applies, so for work here it has to cover Volusia County; a certified one works anywhere in Florida. 1Stop holds the license on file in the licensed trades, with a certificate of insurance and a W-9 for everyone.
